Potter + Sculptor
Given McClure is a potter, sculptor, and educator who resides and works in Austin, TX with his wife and studio-mate, Jacinda Rogers. Given began his undergraduate studies at St. Edward’s University as an Environmental Science & Policy major before shifting to a concentration in ceramics. He later received a B.F.A in Studio Art, Ceramics from the University of North Texas, in Denton. In 2015, he received a Windgate Scholarship Award to attend a wood-fire workshop with Chris Gustin at Penland School Of Craft. In 2019 Given and Jacinda moved to Austin, TX to focus on their careers as artists and in 2021 established In Tender Company, a studio-art collaborative located in east Austin.
