The objects I create collect elements of form, texture, color, and material from industrial standards while exploring the traditions of pottery making and sculpture. They are reflections of the intersections between the built-environment and the natural-environment. Functioning as relics of disintegration and vestiges of the past, or simply pots that explore the external boundary or surface of a body. Ceramics and the various minerals included in the process of firing clay intuit and understanding of ones landscape and thus of the fringes and bridges between various sites. My work aims to emphasize the confines of our world by focusing on the periphery.
